| This large building on a semi derelict site on Barry’s Point Road had become something of an eyesore in this major commercial hub on Auckland’s North Shore.
When the building became vacant, an opportunity arose for adaptive use. We worked with local commercial agents and the building owner to custom design the complex into a bespoke pet foods supply operation catering to the large pet-owning population in the surrounding area. |
Given the unusual nature of the repurposed building, the resource and building consent process was complex, requiring several variations and involving various consultants to assist with establishing commercial viability. |
