| The existing older styled commercial building in Heather Street, Parnell, had reached the end of its practical lifespan. In modernizing the building, the intention was to create boutique and leasable office space within the existing structure.
The interior of the building was stripped to create a modern warehouse style interior space. The existing concrete structure was supplemented with upgraded building elements such as new circulation fitouts including mechanical ventilation, mesh exterior screens, Alucobond façade elements, frameless glazing and glass canopies |
The upgrade involved a new building façade utilizing screens, and a new entry with access from the carpark. The lift shaft is designed for an additional office floor level, giving the building the potential for future expansion or flexible use. |
