| Delivering 65 titles, this project is the redevelopment of a former timber yard and mill site overlooking Browns Bay from the east coast bays ridge line.
The project combines standalone houses, a mix of various types of terrace house and a central apartment building, many with views to the Hauraki Gulf. The mix of housing types creates a true community across age groups and living situations. Amenity for the complex is supplied by a swimming pool and common amenity building including a gymnasium along with changing and bathroom amenities. This is complemented by a large landscaped central courtyard and garden area. |
Both the resource and building consents for this project involved site contamination resolution, geotechnical issues and extensive neighbour consultation and negotiation. The resulting form of the project accommodates our client’s very clear conceptual vision and ultimately took several years to pass through a notified resource consent process, finally being resolved in the Environment Court. |
