| First established in 1946, the East Coast Bays Rugby Club quickly became an institution, catering for the needs of the local community for over 75 years. With the development of surrounding suburbs, the community expanded, and a larger space became a necessity. We were engaged to design and build a new all year round facility. The budget was very limited, and we designed and built within a fixed price. | The structure we designed is simple. It focuses on the field with good viewing platforms and the ability to cater for large gatherings. Now 30 years old, this well-used community facility has seen a lot of rugby and hard use by teams, family and spectators, but has stood the test of time and remains a fit for purpose community-focused facility. |
