Perched high atop a windswept hill in Te Kauwhata, this site was once farmland. Our client foresaw a time when the motorway would connect Auckland and Hamilton, an easy commute in either direction.

The broad rural views inspired the dual axis design; the intersecting roof sections reflect the gentle curves of the surrounding hillside with linear features drawing the eye both down to the lush, landscaped grounds and out to the expansive view.
